Startup Reflections

Startups are a passion. I’ve always been a creator but more than just writing and art. I build things. Sometimes I have been the key behind the keyboard, implementing early-stage code to demonstrate a proof-of-concept. Other times, I’ve been at the helm, standing in front of VCs and investors pitching TNBT. Regardles, I have a lot of technology startup experience. To date, I have launched five startups. One of them, Datazoom, is still powering forward under the careful leadership of my co-founder. As a consultant, I often work with early stage startups to help them build their brand, market more effectively, talk about how they solve problems (rather than their technology), and general strategy. But if there’s one thing that’s common across all of my startups is that you learn a lot about yourself, what it means to succeed, and how failure is so important. These posts explore my startup journey.
