Technology Musings
Intersecting many aspects of my life, from startups to science to marketing, I love technology. I was introduced to my first computer, the Apple II+, in the third grade and I have never looked back. From writing text-based adventure games (based on Zork) and selling them at the Orange County Swapmeet to launching a mobile-based startup on the Demo stage to building countless web and n-tier enterprise applications, I’ve always had my hands in one kind of technology or another: robotics, computers, cars, cameras, VR, you name it, I’ve probably taken it apart to see how it works. I am a capable programmer in a dozen languages and try to stay on the cutting edge of software engineering and operations. These posts look at where technology is (maybe offering an opinion or two), where it has been, and where it might be going.
